Happy your-style holiday!

December 2024

To anyone who’s finding the holiday season a little hard this year…

Maybe you’re working long hours like so many of my friends in hospitality, making someone else’s holiday magical while your family is miles away. Maybe you’re spending it solo, feeling like you’re the only one who didn’t get the memo about “holiday cheer.” Or maybe life’s just been tough lately, and all the Christmas Carols and jingles feel more like reminders of what’s missing than what’s merry.

Can I just say: it’s okay to feel what you’re feeling. There’s no rule that says you have to be joyful just because it’s December.

Morning Routine and Hugging Trees

November 2024

I’ve always been searching for the “perfect” morning routine—just like so many of us do. You know, the usual: what time to wake up, what to eat, how long to meditate, the latest productivity hacks, the perfect coffee ritual, getting into that optimal flow state…

Back in 2021, I joined an eight-day mindfulness retreat at the Sangha Resort in Suzhou, led by Chavalit Frederick Tsao—Chairman of Tsao Pao Chee, a business tycoon and rare leader who weaves Eastern philosophy, holistic wisdom, and quantum theory into business and daily living. Both his presence, as a mindful billionaire fully embodying what he teaches, and the wisdom he shared each day left a lasting impression on me.

How do muscles grow?

August 2025

"Muscles grow under pressure — shouldn’t my mental strength work the same way?"

That’s what a new client told me recently.
He’s successful, driven, and incredibly disciplined.
He works with a trainer. Hits the gym almost every day.
To him, exercise is how he manages stress — the sweat, the reps, the structure — it's his way of staying in control.

The greatest prison is the one you create inside your own mind

March 2025

I heard this story few days ago, and it hasn’t left me since.

Imagine being 16 years old, excited about a date, wondering what dress to wear. That was Edith Eger’s reality—until the knock on the door.

In 1944, in Nazi-occupied Hungary, Edith, her sister, and her parents were taken from their home and packed onto a train bound for Auschwitz. Within hours of arrival, both her parents were murdered.

Not long after, …………
